Markets leave a lot of trash behind, not only the packaging of goods, but also food peels from people trying the fruits and vegetables. Is there a way that these peels can be turned into something else, instead of ending up as trash?

This is a series of different tests with the peels of tangerines, trying to get a strong material that could be used to create bowls to package small fruits like strawberries in. If the peels could be transformed to packaging, plastic packaging wouldn’t be neccesary anymore and the peels are also saved from landfill.

All tests are done with natural materials, making it able to compost the peels after use.
